With a strong interest in medicine, Rudy attended The Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a B.S. degree in biology. He then to further his interests in the practice of medicine, attended and graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in Chicago. As a chiropractic physician, “Dr. Massa” practiced for many years in South Florida until a neck injury ended his medical practice. After recovering a life-altering tragedy, he shifted his interest into practicing law. He then attended and graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida. As a law student. There he served as a law review editor and as the American Bar Association student representative for the University of Miami. Attorney Giglione is currently an adjunct Professor of Law at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, where he serves as Director of the Trial Advocacy Program, overseeing all Trial Advocacy courses and the law school's Trial Moot Court Program. In 2009, he represented a widower in a medical malpractice and wrongful death case. The trial lasted nine days, included testimony from twelve witnesses, six of who were expert witnesses, and which resulted in a wrongful death verdict for his client in the amount of $1,631,228.65. It was the largest verdict ever to come out of the particular judge's courtroom.
Gary believes that trust and good communication are the elements of a solid client-lawyer relationship. He has presented to the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society, and was a local Toastmasters champion. Gary graduated from King's College in 1993 and from Duquesne University School of Law in 1996.
Attorney Carben is a 2016 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law. She joined Massa Butler & Giglione as a law clerk in 2015, and was hired as an Associate upon passing the Pennsylvania bar examination in 2016. Prior to that, she interned at the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office.
During law school, Megan was a member of Duquesne's Trial Advocacy Program, and competed at several national trial moot court competitions. She received multiple awards for her exceptional trial advocacy skills, including the Katie Elisabeth Westbrook and Aaron J. Deluca Advocacy Awards, and was ultimately inducted into the Order of Barristers and Louis E. Manderino Honor Society. During her third year of law school, Megan was certified as a student attorney to assist with the representation of indigent people through Duquesne's Civil Rights Clinic.
In 2013, Megan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Slippery Rock University, with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Spanish. She spent one semester studying abroad at the Universidad de Costa Rica.
